                                          The book comes with an introduction, a preface, and a conclusion after three chapters.
                                          Every chapter consists of sections and units as follows: A Preface of the Islamic Poetry
                                          before the first Abbasid Period in two sections, at the rise of Islam and The Omayyad
                                          Period. The first chapter is entitled Rawafid Al-Shir Al-Islami fi Al-Asr Al-Abbassi Al- Awal
                                          (Sources of Islamic Poetry in the First Abassid Period) in four units, the first on Islamic
                                          vicegarence and politics. The second is on Islamic Parties and groups, the third on Internal
                                          and External Jihad Movement. The fourth is on the holy Quran and Modesty movement and
                                          the fifth is on early signs and milestones of Tasawf.

                                          The Second Chapter entitled Al-Itijah Al-Islami fi Al- Asr Al-Abbasi Al-Awal (Islamic
                                          Orientation in the First Abbasid Period) is composed in five units, the first is on the impact of

                                          Islamic poetry and the third is on outstanding milestones in Islamic poetry. The Conclusion
                                          has the summary of the book and its results. The book is republished by the International
                                          Islamic University Malaysia whose concern for publishing and pursuing research in
                                          postgraduate levels is immense. Moreover, the university celebrates any new beneficial
                                          work on the wisdom of literary heritage.
