Seminar On Women:

“Rights and Responsibilities-

Between Text and Context”

he Centre for Women Studies of Universiti Islam Malaysia (UIM) has recently launched
one of its most prestigious event in Cyberjaya. The seminar attracted a total of 140

Tparticipants which among others includes Judges and Legal Practitioners, Notable
Guests from the State of Pahang, Corporate Figures, Academicians, Social Rights Activist and
Advocates, as well as Students. The large turnout was well represented from a multitude

of organisations consisting of Government Agencies, Corporate Entities, Public and Private
Universities, Colleges and NGO’s.
